It’s election season, and unfortunately that means some campaigns and special interests will be spending big money to spread misinformation. That’s too bad.
Here’s the fact: as your mayor since 2020, Lauren McLean has delivered on real property tax relief and affordability for Boiseans, even as we navigated growth and inflation.
For the first time in over a decade, Boise residents will see a reduction in their property taxes.
This year under Mayor McLean’s budget, Boise homeowners will see decreases in their property taxes, 8.7% on average.
Mayor McLean also delivered $1.2 million in property tax rebates to seniors, veterans, and those living with disabilities, making Boise the first city in Idaho to expand the Circuit Breaker program for those who need it most.
